Unigrid: The NPS's Great Idea
Monday, September 21, 2009 at 4:55PM One of the most beautifully designed brochures you probably got your hands on this summer was handed to you by a park ranger. I hope that all of this attention to the National Parks will also call attention to one of the greatest design systems in our national design history - just think - federally regulated design for the people. It happened here -- with the help of Massimo Vignelli who created the Unigrid Black Band look and design system. The unigrid system is a completely customizable brochure layout system that allows each park flexibility while maintaining a sharp authoritative and educational presentation.
